18m 28m*	HEADLINE RUNDOWN I want to say something about all that has been going on in the last month or so, roll it all up in a ball and make a statement or two on it all. Why does this matter to me TKD? Well I think many of you are invested in Trump as was I and I still am. We should try and get a handle and grip on what is happening and what we will do about it. No one has more invested in the Trump presidency than I do. Let’s hop in the wayback machine, remember when I invented the Trumpzilla sound effect. That was me way back in they day. There were choices to be made. Remember the 12 candidates that showed up in Iowa at the State Fair? Ted Cruz, Scott Walker, Lindsey Graham, Bobby Jindal, Carley Fiorina, Rick Santorum, Chris Christie, Mike Huckabee, Marco Rubio, Jeb Bush, Ben Carlson, Rand Paul and Donald Trump. This is when I first put my backing behind Trump. He wasn’t the average candidate. He was different, he had a swagger about him. He wasn’t using the normal Republican talking points. The point I’m making is I was invested very early on in Making America Great Again. So let me say this to you about the war in Iran as clearly as I can. I was having a heated debate with a fellow Catholic friend of mine yesterday. Finally I said, bro, I have been against war for the last 18 years. I gave a speech at Ron Paul’s LPAC on this very subject. I’m not some shrinking violet that said you shouldn’t have a military etc. Since 2008 I have been opposed to every intervention. I have descended on ALL OF THEM! I told him, you KNOW me! For 18 years I have remained rock solid a non-interventionist. I have NEVER wavered. In 2018 went Trump bombed the Syrians, I said it was an unjust action. I said he was wrong then and he is wrong now. We should never be in foreign affairs like this. When I tell you, when I ask the question is MAGA dead, is she on life support and we proceed to have a discussion about it…I’m NOT Johnny come lately. I’ve been here from the beginning. I’m not telling you how to think listeners. I’m just telling you why you think you can throw all these reasons at me that is pro-Iran war, you won’t convince me this is a just war. I think it is an unjust war and I think the unintended consequences will be horrifically bad not just

The Israeli army has just ordered the evacuation of Lebanese villages in a vast border region. The priests of the main Christian villages in the area, such as Qlaia, Marjeayoun, Rmeich, Debel, Kawkaba, Alma el-Charb, and Ain Ebel, have refused to leave, as have many other Christians. They rang the bells of their churches to express their refusal. Yesterday, the brother of a friend of mine, Father Maroun Ghafari, pastor of Alma el-Charb, a shepherd who worked in the field, was attacked: he died on the spot. Half an hour ago, the pastor of Qlaia, my dear colleague, Father Pierre al-Rai, was attacked and has just been killed. He has become a martyr of the Church and of Lebanon. In these villages, nothing can threaten Israel’s security. We have been Christians on this land for 2000 years. It is a blessed land, trodden by Christ and His Most Holy Mother. We will not abandon our Lebanese land in southern Lebanon. I humbly ask for your prayers for my brother priests in these Christian villages of southern Lebanon. May Saint Charbel be with his Church. If you are going to be FOR this military action, that’s fine, that is on you. But you will have to own up to what our ‘greatest’ ally is doing in that region. So if you mourned those that died in Palestine, do you mourn the people of Lebanon? MAGA can’t die because there is nothing to take it’s place. You can’t replace something with nothing. Who is the leader if Trumpism is dead? Who can takeover MAGA? That makes this situation more infuriating. I think ultimately the tariffs will work. I think there will be a rejuvenation of the industrial complex. Why did our ‘great’ ally defy Trump’s command to NOT bomb the LNG? AUDIO/VIDEO: Benjamin Netanyahu – Need Alternate Routes for Oil – I think that what has to be done is to have alternative routes. Instead of going through he choke point of the Hormuz, just have oil pipelines going West and you’ve just done away with the choke points forever. If you don’t build a direct pipeline to Israel what will happen. He says do what always should have been done. He is telling you what the reason for this war was. It wasn’t about irradiating a nuclear threat. Blow up the entire Middle East, just kill it all, and make it so they are annihilated as a people so Israel can have a direct pipeline?! After this they should be told you are on your own! Imagine the betrayal the Qatar people feel. What about Saudi Arabia?

1h17m	HEADLINE: The end of Trumpism is nigh by Christopher Caldwell A year ago, the Liberation Day tariffs nearly caused the American economy to seize up, before China mercifully let the matter drop. Then came the even more reckless decision to join Israel in bombing Iran’s Fordow nuclear installation; Iran agreed to halt hostilities just as it was figuring out how to penetrate Israeli airspace with its missiles. Trump has joined Israel in a campaign of aerial assassination and bombardment against Iran – this time of an almost incredible violence – and has wound up trapped. American air power proved sufficient to kill Iran’s 86-year-old leader and dozens of schoolgirls, flatten apartment blocks and blow up much of the country’s navy, but not to neutralise Iran’s missiles, which have been able to rain destruction on America’s bases and Tel Aviv’s neighbourhoods. All the MAGAcons were out there yesterday talking about how Trump convinced allies to help in the Strait of Hormuz…but I thought he said we didn’t need them? The message seems to be ‘Help! Help! We’re kicking ass!’ I am not a statistician but 40% and 15% of that, if my math is correct, then 6% of the voting population is cheering this on. Take that to the midterms and see if you win. This is simple mathematics. Trump may entertain himself with the presidency for the next three years (barring impeachment), but the mutual respect between him and his movement has been ruptured, and his revolution is essentially over. I think even Sean Hannity is starting to remove himself from Trump. Who is left? Contrary to its portrayal in the news-papers, Trumpism was a movement of democratic restoration. At the centre of it was the idea of the Deep State. In recent decades, selective universities created a credential-ocracy, civil rights law endowed it with a system of ideological enforcement, the tax code entrenched a class of would-be philosopher–kings in the non-profit sector, and civil service protections armed government bureaucrats to fight back against any effort at democratic reform. Trump Trump movement is what happened when Americans discovered the system could not be reformed democratically, only dismantled. It was not a move against democracy, or even liberalism. In fact it was a return to the original constitutional understanding that Alexander Hamilton laid out in ‘Federalist No. 70’: Americans are led not by a class-based bureaucracy but by an executive they choose.

If we push back they will stop. I implore you fellow MAGA people, just must read all of this and decide for yourself. For Europeans now marching against the war, Israel’s invasion of Lebanon is evidence the United States is abetting an escalation of Israel’s unpopular Gaza war. For a growing part of Trump’s own base, while Iran remains the bigger threat to America’s global position, Israel is the bigger threat to America’s democracy. As the war entered its third week, Joe Kent, head of Trump’s National Counterterrorism Center and a top aide to National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard, resigned in protest, alleging: ‘It is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.’ We started this war due to pressure from the powerful Israel lobby. Trump has a gift for escaping seemingly impossible situations of his own making. It’s easy to underestimate him. His flaws – his ignorance, his incuriosity – are in plain sight. He really does seem to have gone to war thinking his abduction of the president of Venezuela augured a similar success in Iran. His strengths, by contrast, are often hidden. As John Judis writes in a profound recent essay on Trump and Hegel, Trump is somehow a world-historical catalyst. He may already be – incredible though it sounds – one of the half-dozen most important Americans who ever lived.
	AUDIO/VIDEO: Joe Kent at Catholics for Catholics Event – Without getting too much into detail, I just did a long form podcast with Tucker Carlson, but after serving 20 years mostly deployed in the Middle East, I saw the path. The American people didn’t have the full story and our country didn’t have a vital national interest in this current fight. That was a promise I made to myself when I was deployed to Iraq. We weren’t there for the reasons my government said we were there for. I said if it is ever my turn to be in a position of authority, I would not send young men and women off to die on foreign battlefields. Let our leaders hear that we don’t support this war. Support from outside has been huge. I didn’t realize or expect the support. I have been asked a couple of times was this a hard decision. Having faith I was able to hear God’s voice and it was my time to take action and that action was very easy. I have a great deal of hope for America. The young people in this country, I have a lot of hope for this next generation. I think as this war advances we should be on our knees and pray but when we are done we need to voice our concerns and opinions to our leaders. As we head into this next election cycle demand the end of these wars overseas. If our country is attacked we will attack, we are not pacifist.

My question to all the war lovers, were you even alive when the hostages were taken from the Embassy? Do you remember Reagan brought them all home right? Trump acknowledged the risk, these people said, but moved forward with the most consequential foreign-policy decision of his two presidencies. He told his team that Tehran would likely capitulate before closing the strait—and even if Iran tried, the U.S. military could handle it. But Mr President, our military didn’t handle it. Remember when he told the people of Iran to rise up and take your government back? What happened to the Iranian people? Where is the uprising now? What does this all mean? 2h41m	DISAPPROVAL OF TRUMP I acted in good faith as I have always acted in good faith. I cannot control what other people do no more than you can. I still believe we still have a chance to salvage things out of Trump’s presidency. I want him to be successful, I want America to be successful, I want Louisiana to be succesful. I pray all the above become holy. Of all the people in broadcast media, I violated no ethical code. I told you what I thought and still think about this war with Iran and other wars. You can say I deserve whatever I get and blah blah blah, that will not change when the next crisis comes up that you will turn to me because I will always give you the best Christian analysis of what is before us. The one big difference is I will always tell you what I think believe and people may fool us again.

3h	AUDIO/VIDEO: Michael J Knowles at the Heritage Foundation – The American founders established a government that very closely resembles the ideal regime laid out by St. Thomas Aquinas. The framers may not have been reading Aquinas, but they were reading the men who read him. I think Catholicism is in a weird place right now. The Catholic ambassadors are kinda pushed out of the White House. JD Vance is supposedly telling people he isn’t running for President as he wants to focus on his family. Well that opens the door for a Marco Rubio. Matt Walsh can’t talk to me, I’ve joked about him but he has really grown. Michael Knowles can’t talk to me or Ben Shapiro will fire him. I would talk to any one of them for sure but they won’t. Candace Owens has built what she has built because she has the stamina and charisma for it. None of those on that stage seemed to have a lot of access to the President. Catholic media, I say this all the time, has not done Catholicism any favors. What are you trying to do to help secure Catholic schools? I get frustrated with this line up of people that are raised up as heroes of Catholicism but what have they done to further the faith?
